Self-Employment Program
SUPPORT TO HELP ASPIRING ENTREPRENEURS WITH DISABILITIES LAUNCH AND GROW THEIR OWN BUSINESS.
Self-Employment Program
We work with members of the disability community who have a business idea they're ready to get off the ground, and with entrepreneurs with disabilities who already run a business and want extra guidance to grow it.
Through one-on-one coaching, mentorship, and connections to community resources and funding, we help you build the business you're working toward, at a pace that fits your life.
Who is this program for?
You may be a good fit if you:
Self-identify as living with a disability
Have a viable business idea (new or existing)
Are unemployed or underemployed (working fewer than 20 hours a week)
Live in Nova Scotia and are eligible to work in Canada (Citizen, PR or Refugee)
